Hey, everyone! Welcome to "Beyond Diplomas and Degrees: Lessons Learned Out of School," my Udemy course designed to empower all of you with the tools and strategies needed to navigate the trials and tribulations that come along with being a student. In this transformative course, I will talk about challenges I faced with things like academic pressure, fear of failure, complacency, social anxiety, testing anxiety, self-esteem issues, negative self-talk, imposter syndrome, perfectionism, procrastination, lack of motivation, stress, and time management hurdles. I failed to get my IB diploma in high school and that experience played an integral role not just in shaping the remainder of my academic career, but it also taught me lessons that I want to convey in this course. I wanted to create a course where others could learn from my mistakes in hopes that they will apply these lessons to prosper in life and in academics. I also wanted to create this course to show that even though I have had my fair share of trials and tribulations, school has made me the man I am today. So I share these lessons with all of you in hope that they will help you as much as they have helped me!
