Hello everyone, and welcome to isometric character design in Adobe Illustrator. In this demo, you will learn how to easily create isometric artwork using the live paint tools that are available. You will learn how to create an isometric grid from scratch, and learn how to apply to live paint tools to the grid.
I will then proceed to teach you the ins and outs of how to work with the live paint groups, and how to apply layer modes and extras to the artwork. You also learn how to expand your design for use in other artworks. You will watch me create two different character designs and scratch. I will show you my techniques on how I approach dynamic anatomy within the isometric space. I will show you how to create pleasing color palettes to make the character come alive.
