In contrast to modern productions, old-school records often have a certain vibe, modern productions miss out on. To recreate this vintage character, we processed all Boom Bap samples with analog equipment, including tape machines, cassette recorders, and tube preamps, resulting in beautiful pitch variations, subtle distortion, and noise.

While creating Artifacts, we wanted to ensure that you’ll get your hands on everything you could possibly need to create a Boom Bap beat.
