Ableton Live 10 saw the release of a brand new Ableton-native synth, called Wavetable, which allows for deep modulation control and incredible sounds. Wavetable includes the ability to stretch, shape and morph wavetables into a huge range of sounds. This Ableton Wavetable preset pack contains 120 custom synth sounds ranging from classic workhorse synth sounds, to strange, evolving soundscapes to inspire new pieces of music.
New Waves
Wavetable contains an inspiring number of wavetable oscillators, from bizarre noises to oscillators straight from classic synths. Its powerful matrix modulation means it's possible to create deep patches with multiple rhythms and harmonies in a single patch.
For this Ableton Wavetable preset pack, I concentrated on two areas; classic synth sounds and weird, modulated soundscapes. Every preset is set up so that expression controls such as the modulation wheel and aftertouch dramatically change the sound, leading to even more sonic possibilities. Each patch has notes that can be viewed in Ableton's Info View, that detail what the modulation elements do within the patch.
These Wavetable presets mostly consist of bass, brass, synth keys and rhythmic patches, and are perfect for use in psychedelic, ambient and synthwave music. The presets automatically install into Live's preset browser, for easy browsing when inspiration strikes.
Requirements
To use these Wavetable Presets you will need a copy of Ableton Live 10 Suite.
