Alienesque Snow Mountain 3D Terrain Model
This is the simple Alienesque snow mountain 3D model. Why "alienesque"? Because the geology is somewhat implausible in our world at least. Or maybe it is, I just need a reason for snow to be so exceptionally erosive! You can use it either way, realistic or alien, knowing that it's at least grounded in some logic!
Use these files any way you want. The files included are compatible with most 3D rendering programs out there. Meshes have been tested with Vue, Blender, 3DS Max. Heightmaps as usual are compatible with any Image editor with 16bit tiff editing capabilities. And of course you can use them in any 3D program with proper displacement mapping features ("Terragen" format heightmap included). The higher level details are extracted into a 16bit TIFF Normal Map (found in textures folder), so the "optimized mesh" is the most efficient way to go.
